More than 1,500 students from across the state exhibited a year’s work of hard work at the Connecticut Convention Center
Gov. Dannel Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman spoke at the event, which was emceed by WFSB ‘s Mark Dixon. A keynote by foursquare co-founder Naveen Selvadurai kicked off the day.
Participants in the Bio21, Chem21, E3/DA (Academy), E-Commerce Entrepreneurship (ECE), Foundations of Health Science and Technology (FHST), and Information Technology Research and Development (ITRD) programs presented to several dozen distinguished judges from varied backgrounds, including the private business sector, healthcare industry, and higher education.
Select winners from this year’s CT Student Film Festival also exhibited highlights from their films.
Each CCC program boasts a unique set of awards tailored to the given challenges.
